Essie Van D'Go Swatches

Two nail posts in a row, eesh! Today should be a perfume post but the ones I havent already posted about are at my mums, so nails it is.

Essie Van D'go 'A peachy Keen shade which leaves a vivid impact'

Van D'go is my first full sized Essie polish so I just need to ask, are all the brushes thin? The brush is probably the thinnest I've ever come across. I have a few Essie colours on my list but I'm a bit put off from buying them now.

First coat was streak city, mainly because of the brush but it evened out and was opaque with a second coat. I love the colour but as you can tell, I loathe the brush.

Products Used:
Nails Inc Kensington Caviar Base Coat
Essie Van D G'go (2 coats)
Sally Hansen Insta-Dri

I purchased Van D'go from Beauty Bay link price: £8.50. Its free delivery and they also sent a free gift. :)

  1. The colour is gorgeous! I hate thin brushes, I read somewhere that the ones being sold in boots have a much better brush xx

    1. Me too, the brush was just dragging the polish to the point that parts of my nails had streaks of no colour at all.

I hope so, theres a few I really want to get.

  2. Yesterday I bought one of the newer Essie polishes that are available from larger Boots stores and the brush is A LOT better (thicker!). Considering Essie is my favourite brand of nail polish this is brilliant and dangerous! xx

    1. Are the colours new too or just oldies with revamped brushes?

    2. The colours are the same (I think they're their 70 best-selling shades or something) but the brushes are just double the thickness! Used One today for the first time and it's made a massive difference to the application xx
