Review | Evolve Organic Beauty Protein Build Conditioner

The first thing I notice about hair care (apart from the packaging) is the scent. I love products to smell good, especially when I'm using them on my hair. Evolve Organic Beauty Protein Build Conditioner* smells, quite simply, amazing! Its not the type of fragrance you would expect from a conditioner, its like cupcakes, chocolate, cocoa butter and all that other good stuff. Its a body butter type scent :]

Ok, I'm going to call it 'EOBPBC' to save me typing out the full name.

The Good Stuff: Free From - Parabens | SLS/SLES | PEGs | DEA | Mineral Oil | Silicone | Propylene Glycol | GMO or synthetic fragrances.

If you've been following my blog for a while now then you'll know that everything listed above is everything I try to avoid in hair care. EOBPBC is a protein rich conditioner for dry/damaged hair. Wheat & Almond Proteins deeply penetrate the hair shaft to moisturise, strengthen and repair the hair from within whilst Amazonian Pracaxi Oil adds a lusturous shine and softness to hair.

My hair is very damaged from years of abuse, very few conditioners actually make a difference to my hair and while EOBPBC doesnt leave my hair completely tangle free, it does make my hair feel so much stronger. Usually if a conditioner doesnt detangle my hair the best I'll write it off straight away but this is definately helping my hair in some way. The only way I can describe it is as similar to how Philip Kingsley Elasticizer makes my hair feel.

For best results EOBPBC should be left on the hair for around 2 minutes to absorb then rinsed, I then follow with a tiny amount of Davines Moisturising Balm just to make my hair more manageable.

All Evolve Organic Beauty products can be found here, and at Tesco! I'll be keeping an eye out next time I'm there. Protein Build Conditioner retails at £11.99 for 200ml
